Hi! I’m Shrey Patel, your Iowa DECA President. I’m currently also the Vice President of Finance for Ames High DECA where I’m a Senior. Joining DECA my Freshman year was one of my best career decisions. Not only have I improved my leadership skills and built a thriving network of our awesome members across the state and nation, but DECA has provided me with numerous opportunities to help better my career and to give back to the community that’s given me so much. As your President, my goal is to encourage and ensure every member fully utilizes the opportunities available through DECA and provide support to help members realize their full potential and excel at every level of the competition. Hi! I'm Mario Napolitano and I am the Vice President of Leadership for Iowa DECA. I am a Junior at Ames high school, two time ICDC qualifier, and I compete in the Business Finance Services event. I'm also the Vice President of Career Development in Ames DECA. Aside from DECA, I play baseball, football, and the trombone. My name is Ellie Booth and I’m so excited to be serving as your 2021-2022 VP of Marketing for this year's DECA term. I have so many ideas to make this year's DECA term unforgettable for each and every one of you.I have been a part of DECA for three years now, as well as being my chapter's president! Outside of DECA, I’m a part of my school's Dance Team and Track Team. I love being involved in activities inside and outside of school because it allows me to meet new people and it gives me so many opportunities. I’m so excited to enhance all of your DECA journeys. Hi! I'm Alina Markutsya, your Vice President of Hospitality. I'm currently a junior and also the Vice President of Career Development at Ames High School. In addition to DECA, I partake in gymnastics and varsity track and field, as well as have a passion for music, reading, and STEM. This 2021-2022 year holds endless opportunities for DECA and I'm so excited to provide support and guide you through your own signature DECA experience! Vice President of Career Development

Greetings members! My name is Andrew Cummer and I will be serving you as Iowa’s 2021-2022 VP of Career Development. I have been involved in DECA for 3 years and will be a senior at Waverly-Shell Rock High School. Through this organization, my passion has grown for business, and I have met some really cool people. Outside of DECA, I stay busy with other activities that suit my interests. I am part of my school’s Cross Country and Track teams, which I have been a part of since my Freshman year. I also currently help lead my school’s FCA (fellowship of christian athletes) chapter. When I am not busy with school activities, I enjoy learning more about finance and the business world. Hello! My name is Adrian Guan, and I am your Vice President of Community Service this year. I have always been involved in DECA since my freshman year and I am currently a junior at Ames High even more involved and excited about DECA. DECA is and will be the only club I join and participate in because of how beneficial the experiences have been, through interacting with other passionate individuals and gaining valuable business experiences through competition, all of it has been fantastic. It is my pleasure to work alongside every chapter around Iowa to improve Iowa DECA’s Momentum!
